The genesis of NGI was a light bulb moment after a news story broke on the acquisition of a family’s Undertaker business chain. Our research led to an insight into a new understanding of birth, the industry and market value, with gaps left by established brands, NGI vision to be one of the industry leaders in Mother & Baby and Maternal Healthcare commenced.

The sole purpose and vision for Nkansa-Gyane Industries was to design, develop innovative products and solutions to address healthcare issues i.e., maternal and baby health, why was post maternity care, infant mortality care such an issue all over the world. Trying to further comprehend maternal health and infant mortality a key issue, that thought allowed the us to look further into the overall patient care as a whole, and we were amazed at the crisis facing post patient care as a whole.  

After several visits to hospitals, care homes, patients etc and meetings with midwives, matrons, doctors and healthcare specialist, NGI understood quiet well the issues and how its vision could help in the healthcare industry. So in 2008 the founders of Nkansa-Gyane Industries (NGI) launched the PregMUM brand, an industry product lines best suited and designed to support pregnant women, midwives and OBGYN specialists in the process of delivering health babies and supporting maternal health as well. PregMUM designed 3 solutions in packs for Maternity, Postpartum and Nursing to ensure and effective care for maternity and post-delivery for both mother and baby.
